Happy Friday, friends! I wanted to share a few favorites from our house lately:
- I’ve been so excited to discover Hawaii-based sunglasses brand Mohala Eyewear! (Shout out to my friend Katie over at Stripes and Whimsy for introducing me to the brand…) Not only does the brand make adorable sunglasses that also fit really well (with help on the site finding the best fit for your face shape), they also donate a week of school to Room to Read Girls’ Education Program for every pair sold. So far, I have this pair, and I love it so much I have a second pair on the way! (Use my friend Katie’s coupon code — katiev — to save 10% on your order!)
- Maggie had been asking for a clock in her room for a little bit, and now that she’s in a big girl bed we wanted to make sure she’d stay put in the morning until it was time to wake up. Enter this clock, which turns red when it’s time to stay in bed and green when it’s okay to get up. I’ve been impressed at how easy this clock is to use — you can program it to turn red and green at the same time each morning and night, and quickly set it on the fly for rest/nap time — and Maggie really does adhere to it. We’ve named our clock “Cinco” (for its five star points), and personifying it has helped even more. This clock is just $24.99, too, which is much more affordable than many of the other ready-to-wake clocks I looked into.
- We’re definitely fans of bars around here (a favorite snack choice, for sure), and I’ve been so happy to discover a new bar brand to add to the mix: Small Seed Bar out of Raleigh. The bars are all vegan and gluten free, and the flavor options are great. Plus, all orders ship free (wahoo!). I love that it’s a family-owned brand, too (a husband and wife team). Peanut Butter & Coconut, Lemon Poppyseed, and Cacao Brownie are three favorite flavors at our house!
Have a great weekend!
