My Favorite New-To-Me Beauty Products

I have some new beauty products to share with y’all! These are items I’ve just started using recently and am pretty well obsessed with.

For some context, I tend to be pretty selective about adding products to my line-up (I typically find something I like and stick with it to keep things simple), but at the same time I like to keep my eyes open to recommendations or products that seem like they’ll be an especially great addition to my routine. These fit the bill!

  • Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer (Beautycounter): I had been using Two-Faced’s BB cream and liked it a lot, but THIS stuff. Y’all. It’s amazing. So light, yet it has great coverage and is generally just amazing. I use a foundation brush to apply it, and a little goes a long way. Plus, there’s built-in SPF — always a bonus. I highly recommend adding it to your make-up bag!

  • Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (Origins): Winter can really do a number on skin when it comes to drying it out, and this mask is my new antidote. Not only does it smell incredible (it smells SO GOOD!!!), it’s also majorly hydrating and is so much easier than most masks, which require time to set, then you wash them off, then you moisturize your face separately. With this mask, you just slather it on like you would normal moisturizer and call it a night, only to wake up with beautifully hydrated skin. Done and done!

  • Balm Dotcom (Glossier): Speaking of combatting dry skin, this Glossier balm is perfect for any pesky dry skin spots you may have. I love to put it on as a thick lip cream before bed every so often to help with chapped lips!

  • Lash Boost (Rodan + Fields): I’ve always had pretty pitiful eyelashes, so products that promise eyelash growth have always caught my attention. Typically, though, the promises made by those products fell short. After seeing lots of women post some downright amazing results from using Lash Boost, though, I pulled the trigger and purchased some for myself. I’ve been using it for about a week (supposedly you start seeing results around the four-week mark), so I don’t have results to report just yet but am looking forward to seeing what happens over the next few weeks. It is incredibly easy to use (you just apply a quick swipe to each eyelid before bed), which I appreciate.
