Our poor girl was sick for the first time this past week. 🙁
She spiked a high fever midday Thursday, and so we took her to the doctor to get checked out. They checked for flu, an ear infection, and a bladder/kidney infection, but none of those seemed to be the culprit. She was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and was pretty miserable until yesterday. Sweet girl. (Thank goodness for Motrin. She definitely felt MUCH better when the fever was kept at bay.)
We did have a good weekend, despite Maggie being under the weather. We went to the North Carolina coast, where my in-laws live, to spend the weekend at the beach. As always, Maggie loved being with Gram and Gramps!
I also FINALLY got a video of Maggie’s favorite expression these days — “Ooooh!” — which she exclaims often and enthusiastically. It’s just the best.
I ALSO got a video of her kissing the leopards on the final page of her favorite book, which she does EVERY SINGLE TIME we read it. Sweet thing!
I’m just so glad Maggie seems to be on the upswing. It was no fun to watch her feel so terrible over the last few days!
