We made it to another Friday! And next week is Thanksgiving, so that means there’s a short week in store. Wahoo!
As you near the end of the work day today, I wanted to pass along a few of my top picks from the good ole Interwebs this past week. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did:
- Even though I found this link last (thanks, Kevin!) it gets to go first, because it’s the cutest. I’m a fan of tiny animals (I’m dying to get Fulton a mini pig), but wasn’t familiar with the dik dik — a mini antelope — until reading this Buzzfeed article. Now I’m kind of obsessed.
- Kevin and I spend a lot of time making fun of what some people choose to name their kids (Jaxxon with two “x’s”? Really?), and so this GQ article — which bluntly states some rules of naming that I agree every soon-to-be-parent should follow — was a great find.
- What do you do when you find yourself hanging out on your apartment building’s roof and find yourself an unwilling witness to a couple’s break-up? Why, live tweet it, of course! I sure am glad Kyle Ayers took that approach.
- I’ve discovered yet another reason to love Atlanta. This Christmas season, Atlanta residents can work with local Tree Elves to try a new approach for Christmas tree-getting. They bring you a tree, you decorate and enjoy it for the holidays, and then the elves pick it up after Christmas and replant it. So cool, right?
Happy (almost) weekend, everyone!
