Gift Registry 360 And A Wonderful Band From Iceland

As I’ve mentioned before, Kevin and I had a wonderful time planning our wedding. One of the many highlights was registering for our gifts, and we loved finding things at Crate & Barrel, Target, Macy’s, and Bed, Bath & Beyond that we knew we’d enjoy in our home.

Though we found lovely items at each store, we were disappointed that we weren’t able to register at some of our favorite retailers such as World Market, since they weren’t enabled for registries.

That’s why, when I was perusing my friend Gwynne’s wedding registry recently, I was thrilled (and, admittedly, slightly jealous that I didn’t know about this when Kevin and I were creating our registries) to discover Gift Registry 360 (created by The Knot).

The first plus is that Gift Registry 360 compiles everything in one place to create a single, cohesive registry rather than individual registries with each chosen retailer. That in and of itself is pretty wonderful, if you ask me.

The best part about Gift Registry 360, though, is the “Add to Gift Registry 360” bookmark tool (think “Pin It” bookmark from Pinterest). With this all-empowering bookmark tool, users are able to add things from other websites to their Gift Registry 360 registry. Anything! That means you can add things from World Market or Etsy or IKEA! Is that amazing news, or what?

Brides-to-be, take note: Gift Registry 360 seems to be an awesome option for creating a highly customized and beautifully eclectic registry.

And, while we’re on the topic of things I wish I’d known about sooner, I’d also like to mention a second new discovery that I also have Gwynne to thank for: Of Monsters and Men.

This Icelandic band is not only the creator of my favorite song of the moment (“Little Talks”), but they’ve also reignited my desire to visit Iceland as soon as possible. (How in the world does such a tiny country produce so many remarkable things?).

(Thanks to Gwynne for continuing to introduce me to wonderful things! Can’t wait to see you in June!)

  1. I’m so excited you and Kevin will be here soon! Registry 360 made the whole gift process a lot easier for us, and I don’t think there is any charge from the site for aggregating our different items there. Definitely recommend it.

Cameron and I have been dreaming of a Scandinavia adventure, too. IKEA just doesn’t cut it. 🙂
