How is it already the last Friday in June? And how do I now have a three-month-old kiddo? This is all insane. (The best part about it almost being July? It’s almost time to meet my sister’s baby boy, who’s due on July 5. Ahhhh, we can’t WAIT for Benjamin to get here!)
In the meantime, here are a handful of things I’ve been loving lately:
- Daily Harvest smoothies. This is SUCH a great idea: ready-to-blend smoothies in delicious and healthy flavor combinations that are delivered right to your door. Just pull it out of the freezer, add the liquid base of your choice, blend, and pour the prepared smoothie back in the cup the ingredients came in. SO quick and easy for busy mornings! I’d heard about this company a while ago and have been wanting to try it, and I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger. (My favorite smoothie so far is the Mint + Cacao. Yuuuum!) Can’t wait for my next shipment to arrive!
- I got my latest Stitch Fix fix yesterday (and shared my five pieces on my Insta story yesterday, which will be available for a few more hours if you want to check it out!) and think I’m gonna hang onto the romper and maxi dress. So fun! Here’s a video (below) from my Insta story that shows the romper. (If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix before, you pay a $25 styling fee, your stylist sends you five items, you send back what you don’t want, and the $25 styling fee goes toward any items you keep. Super easy and a good way to discover new brands and styles. I’ve found it’s most helpful to be really specific with your stylist about what you are — and are NOT — looking for. Then you’re much more likely to get pieces you love, so take the time to do that up front.)
- The Humble Bee Shoppe, Winston’s new bakery (specializing in COOKIES — yessss), is amazing. I’d been SO excited for them to open, and as of this week they are. I stopped in on Wednesday and tried their Vegan Chocolate Chunk Cookie With Cacao Nibs, which was a VERY good decision. (Oh, and the iced coffee is really tasty, too. I recommend getting yours with a splash of coconut milk.) You can find this new bakery right around the corner from Mozelle’s, where Flashback Smoothies used to be.
- These Avery Tassel earrings from Margaret Elizabeth are SO pretty! I already love this brand for having the same name as my daughter, and now adore them even more for making these. (I mentioned this brand in an earlier Friday Favorites post because Kevin got me a beautifully delicate necklace and pair of earrings from Margaret Elizabeth to commemorate Maggie’s birth!)
