Happy Easter weekend, and happy FRIDAY!
We’re headed to the beach this weekend to spend time with Kevin’s parents, and I’m so looking forward to a couple of low-key days. It’s looking like it will be on the chilly side (well, chilly for the beach this time of year, that is), but we always have a great time when we’re at the coast regardless of the weather. I just want to get an Easter egg hunt or two in for Maggie! 🙂
But in an effort to put off packing (because I ALWAYS put off packing), I thought I’d take a few minutes to put together this week’s Friday Favorites post. (So thank you for aiding in my packing procrastination!)
Here’s what I’ve been loving lately:
- A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about four new-to-me jewelry brands I was loving, and I have two more to add to that list! (I’ve been on SUCH an earring kick recently!) I LOOOOVE these light tortoise hoops from Etsy (a great price, too), and I also grabbed a pair of Windblown Jewelry’s Fearless Hoops (which I’d been eyeing for a while) at Mellie & Emilia. They’re lightweight and SO PRETTY!!!
- On the recommendation of a friend (and fellow Beautycounter consultant), I picked up some safer self-tanning lotion by NKD SKN at Ulta the other day. I’ve only applied it once so far (it’s buildable), so I will have to report back, but so far so good! I like that the lotion is white rather than tinted, and it gets really good reviews (and people say it doesn’t rub off onto clothing, etc.). I went with the lotion, but there’s also a mousse version. Both got good feedback!
- I haven’t had a pair of overalls (full-on denim overalls) since…7th grade, probably? But I’ve been wanting a pair, AND Maggie has a pair and I wanted to match. When I saw this distressed pair online recently, I knew they had to be mine. (I’m wearing them as I type, and they’re amazing. I was impressed with the price, too!)
