If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve most certainly seen me post about Village Juice Co. Everything there is not only healthy and beautiful, it’s also delicious. (My top menu picks include the Mint Chip smoothie and the Edie Bowl.) And — good news — the folks at Village Juice have generously passed along a $50 gift card for me to share with one lucky reader. Village Juice is one of my very favorite places in Winston, and I find myself eating there time and time again (usually with a side of UpDog Kombucha!). Inevitably, it’s where I end up 90% of the time when meeting a friend for lunch (and I’m 100% okay with that).
It certainly doesn’t hurt that Village Juice Co. is within walking distance of my house. While I was on maternity leave, Maggie and I enjoyed many a leisurely walk to Village Juice to meet friends for lunch or just grab a smoothie on our own. (I had to start her on the Village Juice train early, after all!)
Oh, and fun fact: I used to work for the ad agency that helped Village Juice with their branding while they were opening their restaurant, so I got a peek into VJC before most people in town did. I couldn’t WAIT for the restaurant to open, and knew it would be a success. Winston was in need of a place like this.
For those of you in Winston who haven’t tried Village Juice, you’re really missing out. For those of you who HAVE tried it, I’m guessing you’re as obsessed as I am. (What are some of your favorite menu items?)
