Another Monday? Well, you know what that means? It’s MAGGIE time, y’all!
I feel like pictures of my sweet girl are especially warranted on this gray, drizzly Monday. Plus, today’s my birthday and I don’t know about you, but grown-up birthdays always leave me feeling a little weird. So a healthy dose of Maggie cuteness is most definitely in order.
A handful of quick highlights from this past week:
- Maggie tried her first food! We went with peaches (for no reason other than we had a few delicious, really ripe ones on hand), and she seems (mostly) on board. She definitely liked the taste, but was a little confused by the consistency.
- She LOVES her Sophie the Giraffe toy, and gnaws on it constantly. Apparently, she also sometimes gets frustrated at Sophie, too! Our sitter sent me this photo of Maggie today, yelling at Sophie because she couldn’t get the giraffe in her mouth just so. Too funny! Sometimes even the best of friends can be frustrating, Maggie. This is a good lesson… 🙂
- We went to the beach this past weekend with two of my favorite friends (Watson and Micheal) and Watson’s girls, Gretchen and Blair. The two older girls were SO sweet with Maggie, and we had such a great time being together. I’m so lucky to have friends like these who love our girl like their own.
