The Triple X Olympics (okay, 30th Olympics) ended today! I can’t believe they’ve already come and gone.
Some (mostly) non-sports related things I’ll remember from these games:
- The adorable Gabby Douglas, who I’ve decided looks like she could easily be Oprah’s daughter:
- Lolo Jones’ amusing Twitter interactions with Rashida Jones (they really do look quite similar, don’t you think?):
- The queen’s remarkably unenthusiastic opening of the games a couple of weeks ago:
- Malaysian Pandelela Rinong’s winning of the bronze medal in the women’s 10 m individual platform diving competition was a highlight for me for sure. I’m so proud of Malaysia!:
