Friday Favorites (January 26, 2018)

FriYAY, am I right? With the MLK holiday and the snow days, last week flew by and this one, by contrast, has crawled.

But here we are — on the cusp of the weekend — and it’s time to talk Friday Favorites.

Let’s get right to them, shall we?:

  • I’ve blogged before about my love for Paper Source calendars, but I wanted to remind everyone how great they are. I have a large one at my desk at work (this one!), and it honestly brightens up my day in a big way. (Sometimes it’s all about the little things, you know?) I checked Paper Source’s website, and 2018 calendars are still available and are still on sale, so check them out now! After all, the year is young, and you’ll still get 11 months of use out of them…
  • Zoya is always a go-to nail polish brand for me, and I’m especially loving their Flora color right now, and it’s been on repeat for me all week. (It’s just a nice, classic pink that’s a little more muted than it looks here in this image — perfect for this time of year.)

  • Who else is a fan of adaptogens? (For those not familiar, these are a collection of plant-based ingredients that help strengthen your body’s hormonal responses to things like stress and fatigue.) I’ve just dipped a toe into the adaptogen water, but so far have been really happy with Moon Juice’s offerings. I’ve tried the Beauty Dust (my favorite), the Dream Dust, and the Power Dust, and they all taste really good. I’ll usually add some Beauty Dust to my coffee in the morning, and love the Dream Dust with some warm almond milk before bed. Beauty Dust includes ingredients that help with collagen protein preservation, elasticity enhancement, and more. (Yes, please!)

  • In case you missed my Instagram Stories update earlier this week, I made my first batch of homemade kombucha in my new brewing jar! It was SO easy to use, and I love the helpful books/brochures it came with to help walk me through the process. I left this batch unflavored (and it’s GOOD — nice and tangy), but I plan on flavoring the next batch (so if you have some favorite flavor recommendations, please let me know!).

Happy almost weekend! Wahoo!
