Why should little black dresses get all the love? Sure, they’re great when you’re going for a sleek, sophisticated look, but this time of year I’d argue that a little white dress might just be a better option. The white variety can be just as put together as its LBD cousin, but it also tends to add a touch of whimsy and feminine flair.
I’ve seen lots of LWDs that have caught my eye this season, and wanted to pass them along since they’re perfect for just about any occasion. (But remember not to wear white to a wedding that might be on your calendar this summer. Even though many elements of traditional wedding etiquette have evolved, Miss Manners says that’s still a major no-no. For those nuptial events, in fact, your little black dress might be a great call, since that’s no longer frowned upon.)
